Installation Tutorials

Download the zipped theme pack to your local computer from themeforest and extract the ZIP file contents to a folder on your local computer.

1 – Navigate to Appearance > Themes.

2 – Click Install Themes and hit the upload button.

3 – Navigate to find the “ritca.zip” file on your computer and click “Install Now”

4 – Once uploaded, activate the theme. Go to Appearance > Themes and activate it.

Uploading logger via FTP to Wordpress

Download the plugin zip file to your computer.

1 – Unzip the package and locate ritca.zip in the theme folder.

2 – Go to Appearance > Themes and activate another theme such as the default WordPress theme.

3 – Delete the ritca theme which is now inactive.

4 – Go to Install Themes > Upload then install and activate ritca.zip from the new package.

Updating Manually

Download the zipped theme pack to your local computer from themeforest and extract the ZIP file contents to a folder on your local computer.

1 – Unzip the package and locate ritca.zip in the theme folder.

2 – Go to Appearance > Themes and activate another theme such as the default WordPress theme.

3 – Delete the ritca theme which is now inactive.

4 – Go to Install Themes > Upload then install and activate logger.zip from the new package.

1 – Log into your site as an administrator.

2 – Make sure you activated your new theme before proceeding.

3 – Go to Tools → Import

4 – Choose “WordPress” from the list.

5 – Upload the demo content .xml using the form provided on that page.

6 – You will be asked to map the authors in this export file to users on the blog. For each author, you may choose to map to an existing user on the blog or to create a new user.

7 – You will then have the choice to import attachments, so click on the “Download and import file attachments” box.

8 – Please be patient while WordPress imports all the content. Posts, Pages, Projects, and Menus are imported. You will need assign the menu a theme location & you’ll need to configure widgets. This is a limitation of WordPress’ import system.

To create a custom navigation menu

1 – Go to Appearance > Menu

2 – Click on "create a new menu" to create a new menu (eg. Main Menu).

3 – Add the menu items from the left panels

4 – To create dropdown menu: drag the menu item toward the right (the item(s) will be indented)

5 – When you are done adding the menu items, click "Save Menu"

To assign menu locations

1 – Scroll down to the bottom where it says "Theme locations" and tick the menu location checkbox

2 – Header menu = menu in the header

Mega Menus

To assign Mega Menus

1 – Scroll up on the top side of menu page to activate custom css class according to below screen shot.

2 – For main menu item assign as "mega-menu" .

2 – For sub menu item assign as "col-md-4" .(if you want four column mega menu )

2 – Alternate sub menu item define as "col-md-3" , "col-md-4" "col-md-2" "col-md-6".according chose.
